PDO Threads
What is PDO Threads
PDO threads are made from an absorbable material called Polydioxanone which is polymer. Threads under the skin induce the production of collagen, creating a tightening effect for up to 12 months. Over a 6-month period, the threads will be absorbed into the body.

There are two types of PDO Threads

Mono Threads
Mono Threads are a single PDO thread that is smooth thread that is inserted in varies pattern to achieve a tightening effect.
The threads active collagen production when entering the skin and gradually helps tighten the area for a rejuvenation effect. Threads TIGHTEN the skin and the do not lift it.

Double Screw threads
Double Screw threads have 1-2 threads intertwined threads that provide double the collagen production and volumisation than the single mono thread,
Perfect thread for those areas that require more volume, due to deeper folds, sunken and saggy areas requiring more volume and tightening.
What happens during a PDO thread treatment?

1. A topical anaesthetic will be applied to the skin prior to the treatment.

2.Once the area is sufficiently numbed the threads will be then inserted into the skin using a micro-needle or cannula in a mesh-like pattern to achieve maximum tightening effects
3.The treatment is tailored for your face to achieve optimal results and may require a combination of a single or double thread.

When will I see results?
You will begin to see results from 8-12 weeks, which will continue to improve over the next month, as new collagen is produced. Although the threads will slowly dissolve, you will continue to see the benefits of the treatment for up to 12 months.
How long does the treatment take?
The actual treatment time will vary based on the size of your treatment area. A treatment can take between 45 to 60 minutes
