Facial contouring is all about enhancing and refining what you already have. With dermal fillers we can add dimension, projection and light to the right areas to balance your face. Contouring to a desired face shape can often be achieved by using a combination of dermal fillers and muscle relaxant.
If you have a flat and wide face, providing volume and projection can make the face appear less flat by adding curvature and also slim the face. Muscle relaxant can be used to provide a slimmer jawline that is often seen as more feminine.
Enhancements are great to balance out a face. It can bring a chin forward to baseline, add more definition to the cheeks and even contoured a jawline.
Our favourite when narrowing a round face is to add an OG curve but where the highest point of projection should be, we inject it more medially to make the face appear narrower.

The Ideal Face Shape
The Ideal and most desired face shape is typically the oval and then a heart shape face. Most people that often desire a certain face shape tend to have a round or square face, and want to contour the face to have more definition and look more tapered and defined.
Facial contouring for males.
Males tend ask for a more chiselled and defined jawline. This is because a more chiselled look portrays masculine appearance. Male chins compared to females are contoured to be broader and wider with a squared off appearance. To achieve a more defined and masculine appearance dermal fillers are typically used.
