What is PDO Threads

Wrinkle
Treatment Areas

PDO Threads used in the jawline can tighten your skin leaving you with firmer and defined jawline.
A great way to stimulate your body to make collagen and elastin to tighten areas of concern with loose skin is to use PDO threads.

By placing a combination of single and double threads under your skin, the skin will thicken and will tighten, improving skin texture and reduce the appearance of lines.
PDO threads can be placed anywhere on your area of concern to improve the tightness and laxity of the skin. Our patients love it!

Anti-wrinkle injections are most commonly
used in the following areas:

  • Frontalis

  • Glabella

  • Orbicularis Oculi

  • Mentalis

  • DAO

It can also be used for excessive sweating under
the arms as well as reduce trapezius muscle and calf slimming.

There are two types of PDO Threads

Types of PDO Threads - Mono Threads
Types of PDO Threads - Double Screw threads

Mono Threads

Double Screw threads

Mono Threads are a single PDO thread that is smooth thread that is inserted in varies pattern to achieve a tightening effect.

The threads active collagen production when entering the skin and gradually helps tighten the area for a rejuvenation effect. Threads TIGHTEN the skin and the do not lift it.
Double Screw threads have 1-2 threads intertwined threads that provide double the collagen production and volumisation than the single mono thread,
Perfect thread for those areas that require more volume, due to deeper folds, sunken and saggy areas requiring more volume and tightening.

2.Once the area is sufficiently numbed the threads will be then inserted into the skin using a micro-needle or cannula in a mesh-like pattern to achieve maximum tightening effects

3.The treatment is tailored for your face to achieve optimal results and may require a combination of a single or double thread.

When will I see results?

You will begin to see results from 8-12 weeks, which will continue to improve over the next month, as new collagen is produced. Although the threads will slowly dissolve, you will continue to see the benefits of the treatment for up to 12 months.
