Pre Treatment Information

  • Avoid alcohol for 48 hours before prior to treatment
     

  • Avoid smoking on the day of treatment

​

  • Schedule procedure at least 4 weeks prior to a special occasion or event

​

  • Avoid taking anti-inflammatories a week before treatment (consult your Doctor prior, if necessary)

​

  • Avoid treatments if you have had active infections in the treatment area

​

  • It is recommended to arrive to the appointment with no makeup

Aftercare

  • Please do not apply oil-based moisturisers or make-up for the next 24 hours

​

  • Ice may be applied to soothe the areas of treatment

​

  • Mild swelling can be expected and will resolve in a few days
     

  • There may be mild tenderness in the treated areas for approximately one week
     

  • Mild exercise is permitted but keep the face free of sweat for 24 hours post treatment
     

  • Bruise can be expected and will resolve in a week (or up to a couple of weeks)

​

  • The swelling will subside, sleep elevated for the first two nights to decrease swelling
     

  • Apply makeup gently for 5 days

​

  • Please do not have any facials or massages for 4 weeks
    ​

  • No dental surgery for 4 weeks

​

  • Avoid saunas or heat treatments for 4 weeks

​

  • Results can be expected in 8 - 12 weeks
