Micro-needling & Peels Aftercare

Immediately after treatment during the healing process, minor itching, hives, flaking or redness may appear. It is normal to have drying up of the skin and peeling a few days after when skin starts to regenerate. Strictly no make up for 24 hours.

Intensive moisturising treatment is particularly important for regenerating of the skin.

For a maximum of one week, double your skin moisturiser if needed.

Use hydration mask every night for the first 3 days.
-
Avoid the following activities for up to 2 days following a treatment
-
Intensive cardio, exercise or gymnasium workouts..
-
Excessively hot showers, bathing, spas or saunas.
-
Avoid using skin care products containing any of the following active resurfacing ingredients for up to
-
7 days following a treatment.
-
Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) including but not limited to glycolic, lactic or malic acid.
-
Beta hydroxyl acid (BHA) including salicylic acid Benzoyl peroxide - Retinoids (including but not limited to: tretinoin, retinol and retinaldehyde)
-
Hydroquinone, high levels of Kojic or Azelaic Acid, alcohol based products (including but not limited to, Isopropyl alcohol/de-natured alcohol/rubbing alcohol).

Avoid the following activities for up to 10 days following a treatment
-
Direct ultraviolet exposure (sun and solariums)
-
Avoid further clinical treatments for up to 2 weeks following a treatment
-
Including, but not limited to, microdermabrasion, laser, intense pulsed light, chemical peels, muscle relaxant treatment and dermal filler treatments for 2 weeks.

Spray or self-tanning, swimming in chlorinated pools or the ocean for 1 week.

Tattooing (including cosmetic tattooing).

For the next 10 days, it is especially important to apply sunscreen all over and stay away from direct sunlight to avoid hyperpigmentation.

Light non-occlusive and make-up may be applied 24 hours post procedure.
