Dermal Fillers

Aftercare Instructions

  • Immediately after your dermal filler treatment, there may be a slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation to the treated area. This is a normal response to the skin as a result of treatment and generally disappears in a few days.

  • The initial swelling for the lips and tear trough area may last longer.

  • Do NOT rub or touch the treated area until the next morning.

  • Do NOT consume alcohol or do strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

  • It is recommended not to apply make up to the treated areas for up to 24 hours after the injection.

  • Try to avoid lying down for the first 6 hours immediately after treatment.

  • It is recommended not to apply any pressure to the treated areas for the first few nights (please sleep on your back if possible).
