There are two types of Threads used, Mono and Double Screw.
Mono Threads are a single PDO thread that is smooth thread that is inserted in varies pattern to achieve a tightening effect.
The threads active collagen production when entering the skin and gradually helps tighten the area for a rejuvenation effect. Threads TIGHTEN the skin and the do not lift it.
Double Screw threads have 1-2 threads intertwined threads that provide double the collagen production and volumisation than the single mono thread,
Perfect thread for those areas that require more volume, due to deeper folds, sunken and saggy areas requiring more volume and tightening.
What happens during a PDO thread treatment?
A topical anaesthetic will be applied to the skin prior to the treatment.
Once the area is sufficiently numbed the threads will be then inserted into the skin using a micro-needle or cannula in a mesh-like pattern to achieve maximum tightening effects. The treatment is tailored for your face to achieve optimal results and may require a combination of a single or double thread.
